![]() ![]() ![]() : Canon EOS R5 C training series is released. This procedure will enable the BOOTDISK flag in your cameras Flash ROM, allowing it to load and execute custom code from the memory card. I am not too worried about it at this moment just curious if anyone knows what it could of been. Solved this issue when using an old 5Dmark iii as a webcam years later from this post. My T3i does recognize the SD card, and I can take pics, video, to save on the card, etc. I can, however, easily hit MENU and make use of the pre-installed Canon options. The software adds a whole range of extra features to your camera, including: Exposure helpers, Focus-related tools, LiveView adjustments, Audio controls. (Low level format while keeping magic lantern.) Appreciate the few people that actually replied with an answer to this question. I push the trashcan button till the sun goes down, but NO Magic Lantern. Magic Lantern is an open source software that can be installed onto an SD card, which is then loaded onto Canon DSLR cameras. Also the card is a fairly good one, (sandisk extreme pro 95/mbs) and I do format it using only the camera. I should mention that I do hve magic lantern (the stable build not any nightlies) installed on that card but was not actively doing anything with it at the time but i know that may not matter. The whitebox in the middle of the screen disappeared which is great but not the Camera, while on Video setting, creates a shutter/clicking sound. Has anyone else encountered this or is it normal? I was only about to find threads about the light blinking not being solid red. I just recently downgraded my Canon EOS T3i Rebel firmware from 1.0.3 to 1.0.2 and use the latest Magic Lantern Firmware for this model. ![]() I think that magic lantern is not yet compatible with the 800d. I tested video again a little later and also took some test photos and didnt have the problem again so far. Take better photos today with my Canon T3i Cheat Sheets Check em out. I checked the card for the video and it was there so it didnt seem to be a curruption issue while writing. Put the battery back in and it turned on fine. I tried to turn the camera back in and nothing happened so i switched it back off (light still lit) and pulled the battery. If anyone could clarify this matter for me with certainty I'd appreciate it. What I have not been able to find is confirmation from anyone who has actually used ML on a t3i and recorded onto an external HDD. So i decided to wait for it to go off and it never did after probably a 1 1/2 mins it was still lit solid. As far as I can tell, Magic Lantern supports the 600 D, and the firmware itself allows for HDMI output. I removed the lens and noticed the red led on the back was still lit up solid (not blinking at all) so i thought maybe it was still writing the video to the card i am not sure how long that takes or how it works. I stopped recording turned the knob back to P mode and switched it off all pretty quick. I took some video with my new t3i today and something sort of wierd happened that I cannot find any threads about. Remember, even though this can potentially harm your camera, I would recommend this to every videographer Here are the links youll need.Firmware 1.0.2: ht. ![]()
